  • Server Status Page - Can't connect to our data server? Then check this page to see if our server is currently down (updated every 5 minutes).
  • sci.astro.seti - Newsgroup about SETI and SETI@home, frequented by many SETI@home users (and occasionally SETI@home staff) who might answer questions you may have.

  • alt.sci.seti - Another SETI newsgroup, usually cross-posted with sci.astro.seti and with higher traffic, but may not be available via your news server.
  • Windows Help Page - the current instructions for the Windows version of SETI@home (which also comes bundled with the program)
  • Mac Help Page - the current instructions for the Mac version of SETI@home (which also comes bundled with the program)

WINDOWS USERS FINDING MANY COPIES OF state.sah AND key.sah ON THEIR COMPUTER: We have reason to believe that this isn't a SETI@home bug at all but a virus that causes this behavior. It is quite possibly the "hybris-b" virus (which is actually a worm obtained via e-mail). Please download your latest anti-virus updates and disinfect your systems. Other users have informed me that this clears up the problem.
