But we also need money to keep SETI@home going. Running the world's largest supercomputer isn't cheap. Our budget includes network bandwidth costs, staff salaries, and computer hardware maintenance.

The Planetary Society has committed to donate $250,000 to us, asking in return, that at least 3,750 SETI@home users join The Planetary Society.
