Problems With Transparent Proxies

Many ISPs are installing transparent proxies to handle web traffic. Some of them cause the SETI@home client to be unable to contact the server. Usually this is reported as an "Error -20;0". The work around is to specify the address of the proxy server for your ISP in the SETI@home proxy settings. We are collecting names of proxy servers for ISPs that are having this problem and adding them to this page. In addition to checking here, you may want to inform your ISP of the problem. If you obtain the name of the proxy server for an ISP we don't have listed, please email it to us
